We have been super busy as of late at the shop. Lots of weddings and funerals in the past few weeks. Krista has been working so hard and long hours. I am so impressed with how amazing she is and how talented she is at what she does. Being pregnant is not easy, but having to work and stand for 7 days a week is even tougher. We are debating on whether or not to hire someone earlier than the December time line that we originally talked about. I think we should just to give that person the extra time to adjust and take on some real responsibility with the shop. I will still be there to oversee all the daily operations when Krista is not able to, but we need someone solid who can design well to step into her shoes and take some real control of things. Headed over to the sort-of flower farm to pick dahlias tomorrow morning. We went by there today and there were lots of amazing colors and plenty to pick. Small Businesses in Chico

Running a small business in Chico has its ups and downs. It is really nice to live in a small town and have so many wonderful customers who know us personally. We are able to take good care of their needs specifically and cater our business to what they are asking of us. We strive to make our customers happy as well as provide them with the service they expect and deserve.

One of the things that is difficult in a small town is how many people are interconnected. Many times if someone is unhappy with something, whether it be a product or service in Chico, the bad experience can travel through the town quickly and have a negative impact on that company. There are definitely times when negative reviews are earned, however many times the experience is not one that can be rectified by the company, and is unable to be fixed to that customers liking.

I assure you, if you give us the chance to do business with you, we will do everything in our power to make sure you get a great value and the friendliest service in town. Overall, we love to own our own business in Chico, where we both grew up, and plan to raise our kids. It is an amazing opportunity to be able to be your own boss and have such a great community to serve. Until next time..

New Blog

Just started this Blog to talk about the business and what goes on in the back room at our shop. I hope to make this a place where we can write about daily operations and allow people a small glimpse into the world of a small town flower shop.
